MONITORING GRADUATED SOCIAL WORK STUDENTS FROM FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSITARIA JUAN DE CASTELLANOS, TUNJA-BOYACÁ

This research article points out the results of monitoring graduated social work students from FundaciónUniversitariaJuan de Castellanos-Tunja. The main objective of this study is to report the different work dynamics of social work graduated students, between the first semester of 2009 until the second semester of 2012; as well as the relationship between the academic processes offered by the program with the social and labor context, in which graduated students are involved. This article is addressed from the accreditation guidelines of 2006 and the Fundación Universitaria Juan de Castellanos educational university project (2008). This research was a descriptive study and it allowed us to obtain the following variables: number of graduates per generation, theoretical, practical knowledge and learned skills, academic training of the graduate student, the salary level, the geographical location where the graduated students are working per year, employment and unemployment indicators of those graduate students.
