CONTROLE BIOLÓGICO DE ÁCAROS PRAGA ATRAVÉS DO Bacillus Thuringiensis

Resumo

Existem aproximadamente 55.000 espécies de Acari, muitas delas são parasitas e afetam plantas, animais e humanos, causando prejuízos econômicos e problemas de saúde pública. Um dos agentes biológicos mais utilizados no controle de insetos e ácaros praga é o Bacillus thuringiensis, uma bactéria entomopatogênica e onipresente que, em testes de campo, demonstrou toxicidade para ácaros parasitas de animais e plantas. O objetivo desta revisão foi analisar o estado da arte da utilidade de B. thuringiensis no controle de ácaros praga.
